Eduardo tog emot oss vid ankomstkvällen och han såg till att vi kände oss hjärtligt välkomna på alla sätt och vis! Hotellets gemensamma utrymmen är inredda med antika möbler och hotellrummen är rena och fina! Sammanlagt bodde vi i 9 nätter och vi trivdes väldigt bra! Hotellchefen, Jorge och all personal på hotellet var hjälpsamma och mycket gästvänliga! De svarade på alla våra frågor med ett leende på läpparna och de var mån om att vi trivdes både på hotellet och i landet! Jorge var hjälpsam i alla lägen och det var vi glada och tacksamma för! Frukosten var utsökt och middagarna vi åt vid två tillfällen smakade prima! Under hela vår vistelse blev vi behandlade med värme och kärlek och vi kände oss som hemma! Vi rekommenderar detta hotell som erbjuder trivsel, personlig service och hemkänsla! Ett stort tack till alla som arbetar på hotellet ! Manager is the most helpful I've come across. Excellent food and a good Cuban breakfast to start the day. Nice rooftop terrace for the sun lovers!! He charmed the pants off us with stories, kindness and fresh mojitos. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The view from the balcony is the real deal Cuba. On a July evening, music in the distance, mopeds zipping by and crazy heat, there's nowhere else you'd rather be. He told us that we were the first Irish people to visit the hotel. Jorge was a wonderful host finding us a vintage car to tour the city and finding wonderful restaurants to have dinners. The air conditioning worked quite well and the rooms were awesome. Lo mejor es que todo el staff son grandes anfitriones, resuelven todas tus dudas sobre la ciudad, te ilustran sobre lo que debes tener en cuenta sobre, cambiar dinero, donde comprar, alimentación ñ, que sitios visitar es fantástico el trabajo que hacen. Adicionalmente son muy amables y te sientes como en casa! We stayed total 8 nights at Vapor 156, it’s a beautiful old Cuban style boutique hotel. The employees in the hotel are English speaking and very friendly, besides that, they are very helpful in showing directions and providing information about what and how to do in Havana. We stayed in two different rooms (we didn’t book up front), one with private breakfast and one regular room. Both rooms were very nice, air-conditioned and good cleaned. Breakfast is good, and the cocktails are particularly good. Dining we didn't do at the hotel, but is also among the options. You can pay by card here, which makes it extra easy. Verified Wonderful stay We stayed at Vapor twice for a few nights and felt very well looked after. The hotel has been lovingly restored and creates a feel-good atmosphere that makes it hard to leave. The staff, above all Jorge, make a significant contribution to this, the high quality food, the roof terrace with great wooden furniture, every single selected detail in furnishings, the whole service whatever questions we had…nowhere else in Cuba did we feel as comfortable as in this place.Verified Schickes Hotel mit schönen Ambiente! Das Hotel ist unglaublich schick und sauber. Man fühlt sich direkt mega wohl und willkommen:). Mir gefällt am besten die Dachterasse, wo es sehr leckeres Frühstück gibt. Die Auswahl ist sehr groß, so gibt es für jeden was. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und kümmert sich um alles! Die Zimmer sind sehr schön her gerichtet und die Etagen mit den Wohnzimmern dazwischen gefallen mir auch besonders gut! Helaas hadden wij wel een aantal ongemakken. We hadden een luxe kamer geboekt maar door een verbouwing was deze niet beschikbaar. De verbouwing was ook naast onze kamer dus wij hebben ook last van de herrie gehad. Ik had al een half jaar van tevoren geboekt, het hotel had mij kunnen informeren over de situatie en aan mij de keuze kunnen laten of dat ik nog wilde komen. Ik vind het jammer dat dit niet gebeurd is. Een hotel van dit caliber zou ook stroom moeten kunnen regelen door middel van een aggregaat in verband met regelmatig uitval van de stroom. Desondanks hebben wij een prima verblijf gehad. We waren ook veel op pad.Verified Nice Little Hotel Nice boutique hotel in Havana. We arrived here for one night before touring the island. Staff are so friendly and breakfast was very good. Rooms are old fashioned in keeping with everything in Cuba but clean and tidy with good air conditioning. Our stay was short but we enjoyed it.Verified Bellissimo arredamento L'albergo è situato all'interno di un antico palazzo signorile, con una storia molto particolare. L'ingresso è molto accogliente ha uno stile nobiliare, è molto ben arredato con statue di marmo e di gesso. Le camere si trovano su tre piani. Io ero nella stanza 11 che comprendeva un letto matrimoniale, un condizionatore, una televisione, WiFi gratuito e un bagno con doccia. L'aspetto negativo della camera era che la serratura della porta d'ingresso faceva fatica ad aprirsi, in bagno mancava completamente una serratura e la maniglia, mancavano delle tende di seta ma era presente una scomodissima stuoia di legno per oscurare la finestra e ogni volta che in doccia dovevo prendere il soffione il pistone che teneva il soffione cadeva, inoltre la doccia ad ogni utilizzo allagava il bagno. L'albergo dispone di una colazione con frutta e succhi freschi, marmellate, uova e verdure. Inoltre ho provato a pranzo a mangiare dei deliziosi hamburger con il pane dei toast e con delle chips di platano. Il personale è molto accogliente e disponibile e parla abbastanza bene l'italiano. L'albergo offre anche un servizio di lavaggio capi a 7€ e di stiratura a 3€. Una nota negativa è il costo dell'acqua in bottiglia (2€) secondo me è eccessiva. A tutti gli italiani consiglio questo albergo.Verified Good Property - But Inconvenient to stay It is a heritage property, very cutely furnished and well maintained , BUT inconvenient . The staff was helpful. The manager Mr Guia Jorge is the biggest asset they have....he speaks good English , is very helpful and has a prefect disposition to handle tourist demands. However the rooms are very small, very inconvenient to stay. Bathrooms are small, there is no place for 2 big bags and 2 small for a couple sharing a double room. The first floor is very high and there is no Elevator. IT IS MOST UNSUITABLE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS. Der herzliche Empfang von Eduardo mit einem Mojito (der Beste, den wir auf Kuba getrunken haben), die liebevoll gestaltete Einrichtung der gesamten Unterkunft (sieht man auf den Bildern), die Sauberkeit, die vorhandenen 220V Steckdosen, das ebenfalls liebevoll gestaltete Frühstück (Zitronenlimonade nebenbei sehr zu empfehlen), die Lage am Malecon oder vielleicht doch die unaufdringliche Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter. Jede Frage wurde mit einem Lächeln beantwortet, unser Transport an zwei weitere Stationen auf Kuba für insgesamt 7 Personen wurde organisiert, ich konnte auf Wunsch sogar via Kreditkarte bezahlen. Weitere Taxis, Ausflüge und Tipps für die Umgebung oder Restaurants (Bar El Bleco nicht verpassen). Jorge und auch Vanessa waren jederzeit ansprechbar. Mit Eduardo und Adrian konnte man angenehme Gespräche führen, es wurden abends auf der (noch nicht ganz fertig gestellten) Dachterasse leckere Toasts und Cocktails serviert. Ausnahmslos alle unsere Familienmitglieder haben sich in dieser "Vapor-Familie" willkommen und irgendwie zugehörig gefühlt. Ohne, dass wir uns in irgendeiner Form bedrängt gefühlt hatten. Das hatten wir in dieser Form bei unseren weiteren Aufenthalten so nicht mehr erlebt. Vielen Dank dafür.
